Tips on trading Smallcaps
Hype is our best friend in the smallcap markets without hype and promotion smallcaps rarely move I plan to touch base on this very topic in the future and do my best to educate our members on how to successfully trade these types of plays as once again alot of traders don't seem to understand how important hype is to the stock world Here is a few quick tips for starters Enter the play ONLY if it hasn't severely gapped up Never chase the stock Be prepared to get in and get right back out Often im in a play from seconds to minutes rarely over a few hours If you don't have a 25K account join www.harmontrading.com They allow a daytrading account on a 2k min balance (an absolute must in our buisness) Take a large enough position that it takes minimal upticks to make a profit I suggest somewhere around $2000.00 Greed will break you Don't try for the home runs a nice base hit on a regular basis will get you much further i suggest taking profits at 10%- 20% areas Cut small losses before they become big losses Don't become a stuckholder!!!! Loosing trades is a part of successful trading be willing to cut losses and put your money into the next play if your play is not working If you don't have a L2 service GET ONE If you don't have a L2 service GET ONE If you don't have a L2 service GET ONE If you don't have a L2 service GET ONE I cant't stress this enough Be a trader in smallcaps not an investor investors in smallcaps usually end up giving their money to more experienced traders I will add more to this as time allows.
