BERKELEY HEIGHTS, N.J. – Cyclacel Pharmaceuticals Inc. said Friday it could be delisted from Nasdaq because it does not comply with the $10 million minimum shareholder equity requirement.
The company received a warning letter from the Nasdaq Listing Qualifications Department on Aug. 24.
As of June 30, the company's stockholders' equity was about $8.2 million.
Cyclacel said it plans on submitting a plan to regain compliance.
Shares of Cyclacel fell 3 cents, or 3.2 percent, to close at 91 cents. The stock has traded between 23 cents and $1.90 over the last 52 weeks.
