NANO-Nanometrics, Inc. Caught a slight downgrade on Thursday, July 8 due to losing a contract with Intel. The stock plunged more than 20% that day, obviously a lot of that was created by short sellers. On Friday, July 9, the stock soared at the bell to 9.73. Once again the shorts took control and drove the price back down to 9.05 at one point. The bulls took control of the stock late in the trading day on Friday, bringing it back to 9.75 at one point, the stock closed at 9.71, up 1.02 or nearly 12% on above average volume. The stock did make a 3 point reversal on the Point and Figure chart Friday, which leads me to believe there is more upward movement left in the stock. It has a resistance at 9.75, 10.00, and 10.25, with the 9.75 resistance being the strongest of the three. Keep this one on radar for any sign of a pullback for entry.


KERX-Keryx Biopharmaueuticals. Kerx has been in a downtrend as of late. At the beginning of May the stock was trading in the 6.50 or above range. It has since been headed down. The stock did close slightly above the 7day EMA on Friday. Finishing the day up .08 or 2.3%. If the stock should continue down on Monday it has support at 3.00, 2.80, and then 2.50. If they stock continues north the reisitances are 4.00, 4.30, and then 4.40. If it should continue north, there is plenty of growing room before it finds the first resistance. Keep in mind this is a pharma stock and should be played accordingly.


DCTH-Delcath Systems, Inc. Was trading in the 16.00 range the first part of June. Since that time has been steady downtrending and extremely oversold. However, Friday DCTH made a big move north closing up 1.83 or 31.3%. This has made the chart a little more desirable to consider for a trade. The RSI is only at 44 which gives it much room to grow northward. The resistances are as follows, 9.50, 10.25, and then 12.50. Plenty of growing room there as well. Keep in mind this stock made a huge move up on Friday, so I would watch for a pullback before entry.


DRYS-Dry Ships, Inc. As we all know the Baltic Dry Index has been down for well over 30 days. DRYS has suffered due to that. Trading in the upper 6.00 range in mid April it has been steady down hill since then for DRYS. On Friday, however, the stock did make a nice upward move closing up .19 or a little over 5% at 3.91, (closing at the high of the day). It also made a 3 point reversal on the Point and Figure chart. Should this stock continue up on Monday it will find resistance at 4.10, 4.40 and 4.80. 4.80 being a much older resistance shouldn't pose a problem. If the stock retraces back down, there is support at 3.90 and 3.50.


AONE-A123 Systems, Inc. Has been in a steady downtrend for most of this year. As of mid June it has began to show signs of uptrending slightly. After going below 8.00 on June 12 the stock has been making higher lows. It made a nice move on Friday closing up .57 or 6.5%, making the chart look ripe for the picking. It closed above the 21 day EMA, RSI slightly above 50 with both the MACD and ADX heading north. The Point and Figure chart shows it made a 3 point reversal as well. Should this stock continue north on Monday it will find resistance at 9.50, 10.00 and then 10.25. After the 10.25 resistance the stock should move easily until the 11.50 area.
